Beige paving spotlight: Zahra Beige and Ruishton paving
Beige-toned natural stone has grown in popularity in recent years, with a broader shift toward warmer, creamier colours. While grey remains a timeless choice, warmer tones offer a softer alternative that works naturally alongside planting, timber, brick and other landscape materials.
Two distinctive options within Allgreen’s natural stone collection are Zahra Beige and Ruishton — each offering its own character, finish and possibilities for landscape design.
ZAHRA BEIGE STACKERS®
This beautiful, hard-wearing limestone is incredibly popular for its light, warm tone and gently textured surface. Its versatility allows it to complement a wide variety of spaces, from urban courtyards to expansive country gardens. Zahra Beige Stackers® offer a unique 50 x 200mm format that can be installed in a variety of patterns on both floors and walls.
The Washed finish enriches the surface tone and brings out the natural character of the limestone, creating a warm and forgiving finish. For a more contemporary appearance, Zahra Beige Etched Stackers® feature a glass-etched face that creates an anti-slip surface, making them particularly well suited to wet areas. The process gives the limestone a more muted appearance while retaining its natural warmth. With both finishes available in the same distinctive format, Zahra Beige Stackers® offer flexibility across a wide range of landscape applications.
RUISHTON PAVING
Ruishton Weathered Riven is a premium Indian limestone, hand quarried with a traditional natural riven finish.
Characterised by warm pale olive and gold tones, Ruishton offers a richer, more rustic alternative to lighter beige limestone. Its natural surface and variation give the stone a distinctive character that works particularly well with period properties and rustic stone walling.
Available in mixed-size project packs, Ruishton Weathered Riven can be laid in traditional paving patterns that further highlight the natural variation of the stone.
For additional protection and easier ongoing maintenance, Allgreen recommends treating the stone with a suitable stone care product, with a pre-treatment service also available.
